He spun the screen so he could see it, “Cubs fan. I prefer the Mariners.” He shut down the Cubs website and tapped in a new web address. A few more key clicks and another screen popped up, blue with white lettering: Penutian Language Family A search box the dominant graphic on the page “I’ve been inputting various words, phrases and combinations for the past dozen years and by cross referencing them I’ve been able to reconstruct some parts of the language from a host of other languages that may or may not be related.” “Steve mentioned the possibility it is a derivative of Aztek or Mayan.” “Some argue that’s the case and there are similarities.
