English for specific purposes: management in sports industry

This coursebook is designed for students majoring in Sport Management. It aims at improving the skills of verbal and written communication in English. The relevance of the textbook is filling a gap created by the lack of educational English literature in the field of the Sport Management. It succeeds in making contemporary and authentic material accessible to Russian students by providing the necessary support in terms of both vocabulary and background information. The units of the coursebook are well structured. It contains four units. Each unit deals with a key sector of activity in sports management. There are five different types of sections: starting-up, vocabulary, reading, watching a video and language review. The unified structure of the coursebook is organized according to the thematic principle. Each unit is supplemented with the Glossary of the terms explained in English and followed by Russian translation.
