Her face held the same stillness that had been in Tobias' face. "If men were responsible for the Christophe, I would know what men, and I would not have them go unpunished!"

Henri said, "If it was an accident of nature, we may not find out. If it was an act of men and somewhere there are men living who know what befell, we will find them!"
