Hi, to all my fans and friends. It’s me, Jada Williams, and I am a real piano prodigy. I might be small for my age and some people call me a cute, little princess. At the piano, though, I’m a super player, and a master of the ebony and ivory. I can play the piano with my eyes closed, and trust me, I can play insanely fast! That’s just how my magic fingers roll over the keyboard. The famous composer and musician Amadeus Mozart was a child prodigy too. If you don’t know what a prodigy is, it’s a genius, super-talented kid, like me and Amadeus! I can play the piano better than anyone I know, and that is no lie! On top of my serious piano skills, I’m a princess fashionista. You can’t miss this ten-year-old prodigy on stage. When I’m performing in my crystal jewelry, purple cape, and princess tiaras, I rock the piano and the stage.

Anyway, it’s nice to meet you, and thanks for asking, but I am not okay. I’m feeling totally embarrassed right now because I just found out I’m the big loser. I lost the most important piano concert of my entire life! I still can’t believe I lost, but I did. Losing hurts, especially for a prodigy star like me. I even wore my new crystal tiara to the concert. That was a disaster too! The new tiara was way too small and tight. While I was performing, the tiara was killing me, and gave me a throbbing headache. Honestly, The Spring Keys School concert was a shocking, embarrassing, loss for me.

I competed against Michael Hall, who isn’t nearly as gifted as I am, and he’s not a prodigy but he won the concert! We performed to win a gold medal and a big money prize. I love awards and money, like, who doesn’t? Anyway, Michael won the gold medal, and now he gets to travel around, representing Keys School as one of the best pianists in the country!

Wow! I wish that were me; it should be me representing Keys School. I’m the piano prodigy! Michael always wears dark clothes, and he seems so shy and quiet. It’s like he’s hiding or something. Even so, Michael has lots of friends at Keys School. I don’t get it. The only reason Michael won is that he practices the piano like crazy! It’s like he’s obsessed or something. If you’re looking for Michael in Keys School, you’ll find him in a practice room or at his piano lesson. It’s clear that practice is crucial, and key to success at Keys School.

Michael practiced like a champion to win the gold medal, and now he is the champion. Unfortunately, I’m the cute, loser, little princess prodigy. I really didn’t think I needed to practice. WRONG!

Right now, I’m a sore loser, but I don’t want anyone to know. I feel like I should smile and congratulate Michael, because honestly? Michael practiced his concert music like crazy. He dug down deep to come up with the gold! Honestly, I am so jealous. I’m amazed and surprised at his piano skills, and what’s worse? Not only is Michael a winner, but he’s a humble, friendly, and popular kid as well. Wah…I’m crying like a big baby having my loser’s pity party. How pathetic!
