In the flame I see light, I feel warmth, I know peace
The flame moves yet I sense stillness

Initially I struggled with believing in the angels as I felt silly and I would argue with myself. At our wee circle, I used to struggle with the meditations at first, it was because I thought I was getting something until I realised it was my ego wanting it to be which gave me the sense of being stupid, but as the weeks went on, I could not deny the fact that I was feeling energy and beings around me. Archangel Michael was one angel I felt. For me, he appears as a blue light with a strong sense of strength and protection. When my father is around me I get a smell of tobacco smoke and I can feel the energy of him of what he was like when he was alive. Also when he is around I see butterflies. When I moved home, I had a butterfly appear in the kitchen and then at the new house a butterfly appeared again. Two in the one day is quiet something as you don’t see many of them about. Also, one of my spirit guides has a distinct smell of turmeric!
Now as my senses have grew I can see Archangel Michael as a flash of light particularly around someone who is needing to call upon him for strength and protection, or sometimes just to let me know he is there. After doing a meditation with my eldest son and we were talking about what he saw, he spoke of someone blue in colour and the name Michael. I knew instantly he was referring to Archangel Michael but I knew I had not mentioned him to my son. As I was telling my son about it being the Archangel Michael, a blue flash appeared at his head and he got a shiver run down his back. That was Michael letting him know it was definitely him.
