The ghost of the famous balletomane of Soviet times – Wolde-mar Albertovich Cabriolev – keeps telling stories about ballet. This book incledes as many of them as the first one – one hundred twentythree, recorded by the author from his words. Which does not vouch for their full reliability: the ghost loves to boast, but fables are completely left out. The names are also deliberately omitted, and there are no certain dates, but the events are depicted lively and the narrator’s vocabulary is preserved. A bonus to stories is “Cabriopedia”, a dictionary of ballet terms set out in human language.
