This publication is the result of a comprehensive study to identify works on insolvency (bankruptcy) related to the prerevolutionary period. Additional grounds for reflection are needed at the current stage of development of the insolvency (bankruptcy) institution, when new issues arise in the field of legislative regulation and enforcement practice, and “new old” names are important, which are very likely not to be ignored. Due to the need for address the authors’ private opinions, emphasis is placed on periodicals.

This publication will be interesting both for those who have been conducting research in the field of insolvency (bankruptcy) for many years, and for those who only have the desire to step on the path of an extraordinary and intriguing “competitive” process.
