Описание книги

Heart disease is the number one killer of Americans. It is predicted that the cost of treating heart disease for Americans will reach a staggering $800 billion per year by 2030. An inexpensive cure for heart disease exists, but the FDA has recently banned several companies from marketing this cure. "Cardio Crime" is an expose of how large institutions such as the AMA, AHA and FDA, will protect their self interest and stifle innovative health care therapies even if the evidence strongly points to safety and efficacy.

Отрывок из книги

You probably know someone suffering from heart disease right now. You probably know someone who has died because of heart disease. After all, it is the number one killer of Americans. It is also a multi-billion dollar industry. The cost of heart disease is predicted to be at a staggering $800 billion dollars annually in America by the year 2030.

There is a prevention and cure for most heart disease. It’s called EDTA chelation therapy. Until recently, it was available widely and inexpensively to all who needed it. The FDA just banned several companies from manufacturing and marketing inexpensive EDTA chelation therapy to people who need it. When the FDA decides to stifle a cutting edge therapy for heart disease offered by good companies, which have demonstrated a good record of safety and effectiveness, it needs to be pointed out to the American public.

Critics will probably think my arguments are over-simplistic here and put forth reasons fro why I’m all-wrong in their opinion, but I believe a majority of people will agree with the hypocrisy of our health care system and how it seems to protect the interests of the bureaucracy, rather than to encourage and foster innovation for the betterment of health care in America.

This book is dedicated to those who have suffered from cardiovascular disease and those who will suffer in the future. If what you learn here makes you angry, please let your family and friends know about this situation. Take some action to change the way the FDA does business and maybe you will help others who suffer from heart disease as a result.
