Moscow, Monday, May 14, 2012, Russian Cancer Research Center named after N. N. Blokhin, Sechenova I. M. doctor’s office, 10.50 a.m. – as I remember now, even small details of this “unforgettable day”.
A woman of about 50 years old is sitting at the table, wearing glasses, with gray hair, a strand of which carelessly covers her shoulders, in a white jacket, with a beautiful brooch in the shape of a scorpion, eager to bite the “next victim”.

At that time I was the producer of several movies, and for each of it I had a business card with certain advertisement. That day I had six cards. All the templates of extraordinary acquaintances disappeared, and nothing but – “I’m a producer, I liked you, I want to invite you to act in my movie”, didn’t occur to me. She introduced herself with a rare to my ears name, “Lyalya”, emphasizing once again her entire selectivity, even in the name. I thrust her a pile of my business cards, and to my horror, without asking her phone number, I turned and left.
Having come to my senses after about ten minutes, I decided to go back and ask Her phone number, but she left with her mates. I ran out into the street and saw Her waiting for a taxi. The second “approach” was even worse than the first, I couldn’t even formulate normally that I want to get Hers mobile number. The conversation did not work out.
