Holidays are tough...I wish heaven had a phone...so I could hear you howl again. I thought of you today...but that's nothing new to see you roaming through my brain. I thought of you yesterday and days before that too because I still love you. I often think of you in silence and often speak about you to hear the name Taboo. I have our beautiful memories and your pictures in a big frame. These familiar emotions I have of love for you are still the same. You were such a good companion and you always tried to protect me. I look into the sky and wonder if you can still feel tender love for thee. The brutal cancer in your fury body created agonizing pain. Your whimpers, the sad look in your eyes as the cancer moved into your brain. I prayed so many times for you to go to wolf heaven and live without this brutal pain. Tears form in my eyes when I think of the all times you had to be tied to that chain. The vicious side of you exposed the deeper the cancer ate into your brain. Seeing you tied by the chain, watching you lose your freedom filled my heart with pain. Looking thinner every day watching your majestic body slowly dying wasting away. When I put the silver bullet into the gun I stood beside you to quietly pray. This is the hardest thing in my life I have ever done. Watching your body shake, looking into your sad eyes as I held the gun. I know by the look in your eyes, you knew your time to die had come. The music I played in the background had a sad melody with the lonely sound of a drum
