Economic History of Foreign Countries: Textbook

This textbook was prepared by T.M.Timoshina, Professor at the Department of Economics of Moscow State University of International Relations, who has been teaching a course on economic history for many years. The author expounds the economic history of foreign countries since ancient civilizations (Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome) until now. The medieval economy of West European countries and the process of emergence of market economy in Europe in 16–17 centuries. Other chapters deal with the economic history of England, France, Germany, USA and Japan. The book contains a list of references, the chronology and the application with the information about monarchical dynasties in France, England, Germany and about U.S. Presidents.

The textbook is intended for students of Economics courses in colleges and universities as well as for readers that are interested in economic history of foreign countries.
