Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.

Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894)

DNA, known as the "main molecule of life," is usually associated with the storage and transmission of genetic information.

However, DNA can also serve as a source of energy. Its ability to generate energy opens new horizons in the development of biotechnology, expanding our understanding of biological processes.

This fact highlights the complexity and multifaceted nature of such processes, which makes fundamental and applied research possible.

In the context of the growing energy crisis and environmental challenges associated with changes in the composition of the atmosphere and global warming, the search for alternative energy sources is of paramount importance.

Traditionally, the main sources of energy are minerals such as coal, oil, natural gas and uranium.

But their use is fraught with a number of serious problems, including greenhouse gas emissions, environmental pollution, and depletion of natural resources.

These factors highlight the need to find new, more environmentally friendly and sustainable energy sources.

The use of DNA is a promising area of scientific research, so the development of such technologies opens up new horizons in the energy sector.

Thus, the integration of DNA technologies into the energy industry can be an important step towards creating a more sustainable and secure energy system.

Currently, such types of alternative energy as wind power and solar energy are known.

Wind power is the conversion of wind energy into electrical or mechanical energy.

Solar power is the conversion of solar energy into electricity using, for example, photovoltaic panels

The use of wind turbines and solar panels to some extent makes it possible to provide the population with safe energy. But, strangely enough, but these "pure" species have, as it turned out, their drawbacks.

Large areas are needed to generate energy. Currently, attempts are being made to solve this problem by installing wind turbines and solar panels in coastal waters, but this does not solve other problems.
