Упражнение 1. Перепишите следующий текст в прошедшем времени.

I want to tell you about my day. It WAS Wednesday. On Wednesday I HAD six lessons. The first lesson WAS English. At this lesson we WROTE a dictation, READ texts, SPOKEk on different topics and DID some exercises. After the second lesson I WENT to the canteen. I ATE some porridge and DRANK a cup of tea. After school I WENT to the library and CHANGED the book. Then I WENT home.

Упражнение 2. Раскройте скобки, употребляя глаголы в Past Simple.

1. My mother WATERED plants in the garden yesterday.

2. In the evening the boys LISTENED to loud music.

3. The little girl (to cry) a little and then SMILED.

4. My Granny COOKED in the kitchen.

5. She BAKED a delicious strawberry cake.

6. My little sister WASHED the dishes.

7. The children BRUSHED their teeth and WENT to bed.
