“What Would Happen If…”

Оглавление

What would happen if…

1. … I was wealthy?

2. … I was always successful?

3. … I was always healthy?

4. … I was always happy and fortunate?

5. … I was always joyful?

These are the “what would happen if…” questions I deliberately ask myself every day, the questions I base my life on.

Every day, there are many more questions than those five “what would happen if…” but those five are the ones everything else revolves around. As you can see, the questions are always the same, although, when I started this, there were two “what would happen if…” questions that have remained of the utmost importance to me personally.

These “what would happen if…” questions are related to my goals in life, the ones on which all else is based, the ones that help me face every new morning with great motivation. However, if all you do is say these four words but you don’t act on them, you might as well be doing the opposite – in other words, you might as well just go for the negative.

“What would happen if…” is the crux of whatever you choose to do or not to do in your life. Basically, each “what would happen if…” question only ever has two answers: a positive one and a negative one. Which does not necessarily mean that, just because something appears negative right now, it will still appear negative by the time you reach your goal.

Not acting on a “what would happen if…” leads to negativity, because then the issue tends to be fear. Doing nothing in fact indicates great fear and a refusal to act in your own best interest. It is not enough to just leave things as they are – to move forward, you have to really “do” something. Moving forward requires making decisions and then acting on them.

Thinking about things does not automatically result in actually taking action. Taking action means moving forward in the direction you decided on, and that includes everything you do and every step you take. We always need to try to give our “what would happen if…” a positive slant, to look at it in a positive way. Only then can we be sure to achieve what we set out to achieve – namely that which we selected as our goals when we answered our most important “what would happen if…” questions. Only when you utilize the “what would happen if…” questions in a positive way, will you achieve that which you truly wish to achieve.

Someone who utilizes “what would happen if…” questions in a negative way will also achieve what he sets out to achieve, since he has imagined the outcome in his head and so will act accordingly. But of course this outcome would not be the one he was really dreaming of, because he would be blocking that which would be of benefit to him. Of benefit is all that moves us forward and brings us joy – that’s why it is so great to set out to achieve wealth, success, health, happiness and good fortune, and joy.

You can achieve these five qualities only by positive effort and by taking the appropriate action.
