Gabriela was a Spanish teacher, but her students didn’t like her. She never smiled in classes. She never listened to her students. She never looked at her students when they talked. It seemed like she hated her job. It seemed like she wanted to quit the school.

Happily, there was another Spanish teacher in the school. His name was Alberto. Alberto had a passion for teaching. He jumped and shouted in classes. Alberto encouraged his students. Alberto inspired his students. His students loved learning Spanish with him. Alberto was a very successful teacher. No wonder, all the students liked him.

One day Gabriela was talking to Alberto and she said: “You are popular with students. You are a successful teacher. And I am not. I want to be like you. What’s wrong with me?”

Alberto said, “Let’s face the music! You are a boring teacher and your students feel it. You have no passion for teaching. You must be passionate about teaching.”

Gabriela decisively went to the college library. She read each book about passion. After two months of reading, Gabriela changed her attitude to teaching. She became a very passionate Spanish teacher. Every day she often smiled in her classes. Every day she yelled and jumped. Every day she was excited and enthusiastic in her classes. Now Gabriela became quite popular with students. And she was not going to quit her job.
