The main subject of our time is imposed by the course of the world crisis. “National history as a social contract” is a collection of small chapters relevant to this main problem of our time. The “end of history” hasn’t come, the history is returning. The unipolar world of the global economy, interest rate and cultural hegemony is falling to pieces. Liberal society is on the threshold of losing its ideology. Soon each one will determine for oneself the meaning of such terms as democracy, law, morality and European values. Which consensus will unite the world in the new era? What role will Christian values and social justice play in this consensus? The book examines political and ideological “crossroads” that will determine the future of Russia and the global community.
