Ladies’ Amster №2
ОглавлениеThe transfer was in Warsaw.
Emotions are not over yet after the first trip to the Netherlands, the tulip bulbs did not pass planted yet, as I got back to Amsterdam. And I’m pulled right in there, and it’s like something’s calling me. That trip was a transit flight to Warsaw. We did not notice how we had gotten to Poland from the quiet home airport in Kharkiv.
The pathos smoking stall is located right in the middle of the hall. I noticed some smoker passengers who did not have a cigarette right now, just walk into this mini-container to passively breathe tobacco smoke, quenching nicotine hunger. The girl was in such a hurry that she threw her traveling bag on the floor and, entering the stall, greedily dragged on with a cigarette. Her eyes rushed to one point. As she filled her lungs with cigarette smoke, she calmed down and the tension from her face gradually faded away, dissolved in the same smoke.
It is a necessary but forced recharge for smokers on flights. Smoking around the world has taken on such proportions that they are no longer struggling, but contributing by creating comfortable places for smokers. Although the purpose of this stall is to protect non-smokers from smoke.
There are one billion smokers on this planet…
And I’m not a part of that.
The queue to the plane gave me mixed feelings. The flight itself was kind of ordinary and easy. That is, having covered the distance of two thousand kilometers in a few hours, I did not feel tired. And that’s a good indicator of a thoughtful transfer.
As an experienced traveler, I am pleased to note that I know where to go and what to do with each step. Especially since flights and journeys between Schengen countries are carried out without too much fuss and control. I chose for myself that the most practical thing to do is to fly with carry-on luggage only. My son met me and offered me a themed lunch in a new restaurant to celebrate my arrival.
I like serving food all the time. Just place the regular products with minimal heat processing on a large plate, add fresh herbs and prescribe an intricate hieroglyph by the sauce over the whole dish. And that’s it! A unique dinner is ready!
I get the aesthetic pleasure of looking at and guessing at the ingredients. Of course I take photo of everything methodically, I smile, and I enjoy the food with a great mood, certainly not in a hurry.
I like the first day of my arrival. I consider it the most productive one. After all, in the morning I was still at home in Ukraine, saying goodbye to my relatives, and I’m already meeting my son in the Netherlands tonight. I give him gifts and greetings, rejoice and cry at the same time from the happy meeting, from the fact that life is so beautiful and wonderful. And that there is such a place on the planet as Amsterdam!
Introduction to the Vincent van Gogh’s artwork
I fly in for a week as usually, and every day is full of, to the point of exhaustion. On this trip, the Van Gogh Museum is the first in the tour plan. (Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam).
Such an amazing man, Vincent Willem Van Gogh! He revealed his talent as an artist and left over two thousand works to his descendants in the thirty-seven years of his life.
His work leaves no one indifferent. They surprise and make you stop. You’ll be able to watch the endless line to the museum whenever you came to Amsterdam.
But, as it often happens, his contemporaries did not appreciate the artist highly. Society is usually not ready to accept genius immediately, to recognize him as a favorite and generously reward the talent while he is still alive.
