God and creation
ОглавлениеImagine, you are out in the wild, in an area in which has never previously been a man. It is a primeval landscape: there are no roads and paths, no houses, no deforestation, no voices of people and no noise from machinery.
Only the rustling of the wind, the noise of a brook, now and then a screeching bird, the chirping of crickets and animal sounds are heard. There is a deep peace to the country. Everything takes its course, quietly, in a very specific way.
The air is clear, filled with all sorts of fragrances which flow from the meadows. The grass grows waist high - no one has ever mowed it. The trees reach up to 30 meters - no one has ever trimmed them.
You are sitting in a clearing on a fallen tree trunk and letting the view into the distance; it is summer, warm and friendly mood. You are lying down on the floor and looking at the sky. Bees are buzzing around you. A beetle is crawling on your arm …
Suddenly contrails, which cut the radiant blue, attract your attention. - And you remember that the world is populated by people ...
Nature is a wonderful thing. Creation is a true paradise. - "And God saw that it was good." Yes, there is something incredibly great and beautiful. But that wasn’t sufficient for God. He wanted to share this beautiful country. So He created man and placed him in this peaceful landscape.
What happened after that, we all know that over thousands of years, man has created a cultural landscape: mowed and trimmed, plowed, built, sown, harvested, fenced and divided. And soon afterwards, there came the strife. There was controversy over the question: what is mine and what is your? Men quarreled over land boundaries, the neighbor's goods. Yes, even the neighbor's wife suddenly became interesting.
By greed and envy arose disputes, later wars, exploitation, plunder, pride and hatred. The progress of technology was used to develop ever more precise weapons with even more destructive power. Only for the purpose to fight and kill further.
Today there is much suffering and hardship, resources are scarce, the environment is destroyed and some areas are no longer habitable.
