The internal situation in the USA
ОглавлениеAlready at the beginning of the 20th century, the United States was the largest industrial and agricultural power in the world. The richest natural resources, the brutal exploitation of workers, and favorable market conditions allowed the country to maintain high rates of economic development, and monopolies to extract fabulous profits. Participation in the First World War fabulously enriched the monopolies. After the October Revolution of 1917, the ruling circles of this country took the most hostile position towards Soviet Russia. American troops participated in the anti-Soviet intervention, armed the White Guards. With its loans, the United States helped German concerns to revive, interfered in Latin American affairs, and their monopolies drove out weakened competitors from the Middle and Middle East, Asia and Africa. The United States has increasingly influenced the policies of European countries. The United States was becoming the main pillar of the imperialist system. Their government, especially in the last two decades, has repeatedly announced its desire to help other countries arrange life according to the American model, which in fact meant becoming an American satellite.
"The situation, which developed especially intensively after the First World War in the early 20s of the last century, was very favorable to socialism, since the philosophy of capitalism contains many discredited ideas – violence, wars, colonial systems, exploitation of workers, the power of monopolies, etc. As a result of the current situation, which undermines the defense of capitalism, a very skillful propaganda technique, which is designed to create strong emotions designed to mislead and intimidate ignorant people, has become absolutely necessary for the effective dissemination of those discredited ideas on which capitalism relies. Without such a technique, he would have been defeated very soon. However, bourgeois ideology, using its centuries—old experience and data from modern sciences: sociology, social psychology, television, radio, the Internet, that is, powerful means of propaganda, has a huge impact on the broad masses of the population. Indeed, to this day she manages to keep many people captive to social illusions, even those who somehow oppose the obvious vices of the capitalist system, in whatever outfits of "post-industrial society", "welfare state", "formed capitalism" she may dress up" Tikhomirov A.E., Notes on the USA Notes about the USA. The case of the revolutionary workers Sacco and Vanzetti was fabricated. After seven years of pre-trial detention in 1927, They were electrocuted. They were controversially convicted of the murders of Alessandro Berardelli and Frederick Parmenter, a security guard and treasurer, during an armed robbery of the Slater and Morrill shoe company on April 15, 1920 in Braintree, Massachusetts, USA. By 1926, the case had attracted worldwide attention. When details of the trial and suspicions of the men's innocence became known, Sacco and Vanzetti became the center of one of the largest mass riots in modern history. In 1927, protests on their behalf took place in all major cities of North America and Europe, as well as in Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Montevideo, Johannesburg and Auckland. Investigations after the executions continued throughout the 1930s and 40s. The publication of the men's letters containing eloquent statements of innocence reinforced the belief in their wrongful execution. Additional ballistic tests and compromising statements by male acquaintances overshadowed the case. On August 23, 1977 —the 50th anniversary of the executions —Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis issued a proclamation stating that Sacco and Vanzetti had been wrongfully tried and that any shame should be permanently erased from their names.
