Chapter 9
Оглавление1 And the LORD said to Moses, Go to Pharaoh and tell him: Thus saith the Lord, the God of the Jews: Let my people go, that they may serve Me; (Again an appeal to Pharaoh).
for if you do not want to let go and still hold him, (Threats! And why does almighty God need threats, if everything is in his power, then the issue can only be solved by threats, which means that the Lord-God – man is a blackmailer).
Then, behold, the hand of the Lord will be on your cattle that are in the field, on horses, on donkeys, on camels, on oxen and sheep: there will be a pestilence very severe; (On the Jewish frescoes of antiquity (it was from them that all Christian painting then grew) Sabaoth was portrayed differently from humans. The figures of people are painted in full height, but Sabaoth remained an invisible god, only his mighty hand (right hand) stretched out from the sky was depicted. But, having become a Christian god, the same Sabaoth acquired the body and face of a mighty elder – copied from the pagan Zeus. Pestilence ulcers occur due to the introduction of various microorganisms into the skin or mucous membranes of humans and animals from the outside, for example, diphtheria bacillus, spirochetes, fungi, protozoa. Various insects can serve as carriers).
And the LORD will divide between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt, and of all the children of Israel nothing will die. (In order to avoid infection, healthy cattle are separated from the sick, they are quarantined, so the separated cattle do not get sick).
And the LORD appointed a time, saying, Tomorrow the LORD will do this in this land. (This must be done urgently, otherwise infection is possible).
And the LORD did this the next day, and all the cattle of Egypt died; but of the cattle of the children of Israel nothing died. (That’s what it means to quarantine on time. Quarantine – from ital. quaranta giorni – forty days, a system of measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.).
Pharaoh sent to find out, and, behold, none of the cattle of Israel died. But Pharaoh’s heart hardened, and he did not let the people go. (The Pharaoh most likely does not know the reasons for the death of cattle, and the priest-God knows, the latter plays on this).
And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron: take a handful of ashes from the furnace, and let Moses throw it to heaven in the eyes of Pharaoh; (The ashes have bactericidal properties as a product of gorenje and were therefore an object of worship, the residue of the sacred fire, during the cremation of corpses, the body was transformed into ashes and «raised» it in in the form of smoke up into the place of the «dwelling» of the gods, which symbolized a kind of unity with the deceased – sprinkling the head of a living person with this product of gorenje. But, in this case, the ashes are just a distraction).
And the dust will rise up throughout all the land of Egypt, and there will be an inflammation with boils on people and cattle throughout all the land of Egypt. (Egypt, lying along the Nile, among deserts, depends on the river and the desert. There are various natural disasters here: the khamsin blows – the wind that carries the dust of the desert, when it gets dark during the day and this «darkness» grits on the teeth; there are invasions of parasites, locusts, hail, there are epidemics and epizootics, there is a flowering of water that becomes like blood and unsuitable for drinking. It has to be filtered with earth, pulling holes along the shore near the water. According to the law of the Babylonian king Hammurabi, the epidemic is defined as «the touch of God»).
They took the ashes from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh. Moses threw him to heaven, and there was an inflammation with boils on people and cattle. (After the cattle got sick, people also got infected from sick animals).
And the magi could not stand before Moses because of the inflammation, because the inflammation was on the magi and on all the Egyptians. (The Egyptian priests also fell ill).
But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not listen to them, just as the LORD had told Moses. (But Pharaoh does not give up).
And the LORD said to Moses, «Get up early tomorrow and appear before Pharaoh, and tell him: Thus saith the Lord, the God of the Jews: Let my people go, that they may serve me; (Again the priest sends Moses).
For this time I will send all my plagues into your heart, and upon your servants, and upon your people, that you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth.; (These are already threats).
Because I have stretched out my hand, I would have struck you and your people with a plague, and you would have been destroyed from the earth: (The ominous threats continue).
But for this reason I have kept you, that I might show you my power, and that my name might be proclaimed throughout the whole earth; (However, a testimony of the power of the god of the Jews is necessary).
You are still resisting my people, so as not to let them go – (The confrontation continues).
Behold, I will send tomorrow, at this very time, a very strong hail, the like of which has not been in Egypt since its foundation until now; (The priest had a presentiment or knew changes in the weather).
So we went to gather your flocks and all that you have in the field: hail will fall on all the people and cattle that remain in the field and will not gather into houses, and they will die. (Most likely, this was due to ongoing volcanic activity).
Those of Pharaoh’s servants who were afraid of the word of the LORD hastily gathered their servants and their flocks into their houses; (Believers in the Jewish god have already appeared among the slaves).
But whoever has not turned his heart to the word of the LORD has left his servants and his flocks in the field. (But not everyone believed).
And the LORD said to Moses, «Stretch out your hand toward heaven, and hail will fall on all the land of Egypt, on people, on livestock, and on all the grass of the field in the land of Egypt. (Lifting and waving of hands is a distracting and zombifying maneuver, the priest knew that there would be hail soon).
And Moses stretched out his rod to heaven, and the LORD made thunder and hail, and fire spread over the earth; and the LORD sent hail to the land of Egypt; (The eruption of the volcano began).
And there was hail and fire between the hail, very strong, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since the time of its population. (That is, not hail as precipitation in the form of irregularly shaped ice particles, but probably in the form of stones, pumice and ash).
And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt everything that was in the field, from man to cattle, and the hail smote all the grass of the field, and broke all the trees in the field; (That is, the hail was quite strong. Linear volcanoes or fractured volcanoes have extensive supply channels associated with a deep split of the crust. As a rule, basalt liquid magma pours out of such cracks, which, spreading out to the sides, forms large lava covers. Along the cracks there are gentle spray shafts, wide flat cones, lava fields. If the magma has a more acidic composition (a higher content of silicon dioxide in the melt), linear extrusion shafts and arrays are formed. When explosive eruptions occur, explosive ditches with a length of tens of kilometers can occur. Volcanic eruptions refer to geological emergencies that can lead to natural disasters. The eruption process can last from several hours to many years).
Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel lived, there was no hail. (The ash cloud passed this territory by).
And Pharaoh sent, and called Moses and Aaron, and said to them, This time I have sinned; the LORD is righteous, but I and my people are guilty.
Pray to the LORD: let the thunders of God and the hail cease; and I will let you go and will no longer hold you. (Go!).
Moses said to him, «As soon as I leave the city, I will stretch out my hands to the LORD; the thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail, so that you may know that the land of the LORD is; (A sign is needed).
But I know that you and your servants will not yet fear the LORD God. (That’s how religions are created!).
The flax and the barley were beaten, because the barley was mowed out, and the flax was seeded; (In some places the hail was strong).
but the wheat and the spelt were not beaten, because they were late. (So, the time of year was the beginning of autumn, that is, the harvest. Spelt – types of wheat with a brittle ear).
And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and stretched out his hands to the LORD, and the thunder and hail ceased, and the rain ceased to fall on the earth. (Dispersal of clouds, clouds – clouds are constantly moving and «dispersed» use their knowledge and information about wind, atmosphere, etc. to «disperse» clouds, clouds, stop thunder, hail, rain. In addition, it has been scientifically proven that, for example, only seriously ill people react to «changes» in solar activity, while healthy people do not notice «changes». The relationship was proved (this is the development of A.L. Chizhevsky et al.) between changes in the Earth’s magnetic field and an increase (decrease) in the number of patients with myocardial infarction, if these people have already been ill. Apparently, there is also a relationship between «somewhat mental» sick people and electrical discharges emanating from thunderclouds. Some people (priests, shamans and not only) in trance perceive electrical discharges better than others and can, as it were, «disperse clouds», i.e. perceive lightning electrical discharges and feel the weather, understand where clouds and clouds can go).
And Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail and thunder had ceased, and he continued to sin, and he and his servants hardened his heart. (Pharaoh is ready to deceive again).
And Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he did not let the children of Israel go, as the LORD had spoken through Moses. (The Israelis were never released).
