Hey Kids! I am excited for you to start and operate your very own business, but always remember these tips. SAFETY COMES FIRST!

1.Always check first with your parents before setting up your Little Green Money Machine business or fundraiser, and get their approval first. Discuss with them where you’d like to set it up, and ask what location they are okay with.

2.If your parents approve, set up your stand with a group! Ask your friends, older siblings, another trusted adult, or your parents. Working in teams is more fun!

3.Always check first with your parents before sharing phone numbers, emails, or other personal contact information on your marketing materials. You can still market your business without providing personal contact information. Instead, just list date/time/location of your business.

4.Never go inside a stranger’s home or car!

5.Be aware of people you don’t know. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, leave immediately and tell your parent, guardian, or trusted adult.

6.Be aware of cars! Always look both ways before you cross the street, and be sure that the driver can see you. Never set up your stand on the street.

7.Always set up your stand in highly visible public places!

8.Always remember, safety comes first!
