Chapter 1 A Few Notes from the Owner’s Manual for Mankind
ОглавлениеThe words found in the manual for mankind (the Bible) include the past, present, and the future. The Bible has a great value. The words in the Bible were written over a period of 1,500 years, instructed by forty holy men of God, living on three continents. These words were written and organized into 66 books—39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament. In the beginning the words were written in Greek, Arabic, and Hebrew, upon scrolls, rolled parchment, linen, or papyrus.
This book is the first important book, and it was printed in 1456 (only 559 years ago). It was first printed in Europe (from movable type printing press) by Johann Gutenberg. The Gutenberg Bible, owned by the Library of Congress, is perhaps the most valuable printed book in the world. In Mark 13:10 it says, “And the gospel must first be published among all nations.” The printing press has made this possible. People of all nations who migrate to places where the gospel is published continue to spread the Word.
A lot of people own a Bible. Perhaps it is left on a bookshelf, a dash board, or on the back window of a car, becoming faded by the sun’s rays. Unfortunately, it is not being read as much as it should be. The Word of God is spiritual food. Have you heard, “Give us this day our daily bread?” The Scripture quoted in this book you are now reading is taken from the original 1611 King James of the Bible version.
In 1947 the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. They were written in Hebrew, Ahmed, and Greek. The words are the same, except for a few small letters which did not change the meaning of the Scripture. The King James Version uses the same wording, but it is printed in English. These scrolls have been carbon dated fourteen multiple times, giving a calibrated date from 320–330 B.C. (Before Christ). It is amazing that in 1947, an Arab shepherd boy, named Juma, discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls. In 1948, Israel became a nation. Neither the Muslims, nor the Jews, recognize Jesus as the Messiah—the Son of the living God. The Isaiah scroll was found complete. Isaiah speaks of the Messiah in chapter 53. This is significant because these words were written about 700 years before Jesus was even born. In these last days, with the deterioration of humanity, it will be revealed to the Muslims, Jews, and everybody on earth, that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Everything that is happening in this world now was predicted by the prophets of God a long time ago.
There are some that say the Bible was hidden. Well, now we know the truth. Jesus said in the book of John 5:43, “I came in my Father’s name and ye received me not. If another shall come in his own name him ye will receive.” First Corinthians 3:11 says, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
Jesus Christ is spoken of throughout the entire Bible, both in the Old and New Testaments: (Genesis 12:3) The seed of Abraham; (Genesis 49:10) From the tribe of Judah; (Isaiah 9:6-7) Heir to the throne of David; (Micah 5:2) Born in Bethlehem; (Daniel 9:25) At the appointed time; (Isaiah 7:14) Born of a virgin; (Psalm 2:7; Proverbs 30:4; John 3:13) Declared to be the Son of God; (Deuteronomy 18:15) Would be a prophet; (Isaiah 53:3) Rejected of His own; (Zechariah 9:9) He entered Jerusalem as a king riding on an ass; (Zechariah 11:12) Sold for 30 pieces of silver; (Psalm 35:1) Accused by false witnesses; (Isaiah 53:7) Silent to accusations; (Isaiah 50:6) Spat upon and smitten; (Psalm 35:19) Hated without a cause; (Isaiah 53:5) The sacrificial lamb, (Isaiah 53:12) Crucified with criminals; (Zechariah 12:10) Pierced through hands, feet, and side; (Psalm 69:21) Given vinegar and gal; (Psalm 22:18) Soldiers gambled for his coat; (Psalm 34:20) No broken bones; (Isaiah 53:9) Buried with the rich; (Psalm 16:10-11, 49:5) Resurrected from the dead; (Psalm 68:18) Ascended to the right hand of God; (Malachi 3:2-3) His coming glory.
In Luke 24:44 it says, “These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms concerning me.” (Emphasis added)
Did you know that you have a user’s manual, or book, just like an automobile, boat, or machinery of any kind? Yes, you do! And if you follow the instructions, your warranty will never expire, it is eternal. There is no other warranty that will match it. These are just a few notes from that manual. It was written with the instruction of the Owner of mankind. The Owner is Jehovah God.
Every living thing has instructions from God. The plants do what they are supposed to do. The animals do what they are supposed to do. Even the fish in the water obey God. For instance, take the mother sea turtle, she lays her eggs in the sand and covers them up and then leaves. When her eggs hatch, the little turtles will make their way toward the water. These little turtles will eat algae, seaweed, crabs, shrimps, sponges, snails, mollusks etc. Now, how do they know what to do or what to eat in this new environment they were born into?
The Simon Fish lays her eggs in freshwater. When her eggs hatch, these newborn, little fish go to the ocean (salty water) and stay and live their lives. After many years, these fish will return to the same place where they were born.
The plant world is full of God’s mysteries. You can plant flowers and trees miles apart from each other, and they will bloom at the same time of the year. Have you ever noticed the beautiful cherry blossoms in different parts of the world? This little seed can be a beautiful flower or it can be a huge tree. From this little seed, you have leaves and you will have limbs, etc.
The insect world, the fowl world and all other creatures on the earth, obey God—all except one. If a creature decided to disobey God’s order, they would become extinct (e.g., if a fish decided to live on land or a bird decided to live in water). They are programmed with what they will need to do since the time of conception. When God created man, He created him in His own image. Man was given free will to obey or disobey his Maker. But there are consequences for disobedience. To obey is called righteousness to disobey is called sin. We have a manual—the Holy Bible.
Before the Bible, God spoke to man directly. Mankind was disobedient. This put a curse on everybody on earth. God then gave mankind commandments, which were written on stone. There were Ten Commandments given by God. These commandments are found in the book of Exodus 20:1 (Old Testament). This is the Law that was given to Moses. In Romans 10: 4, it tells us that Christ is the END of the law for righteousness for everyone who believes.
Mark 12:30-31 provides us with two commandments from Jesus:
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy mind and with all thy strength this is the first commandment. And the second is like namely this thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Currently, there are many versions of the Bible. Unfortunately, the true meaning of words was changed in some versions. The King James Version has been under attack for a long time. People were burned at the stake because of the truth included in it. In Ephesians 4:14, Paul said, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.” (Please continue reading). Revelation 22:18 tells us if any man shall add unto these things (unto the Bible), God shall add unto him the plagues that are written about in the Bible. Verse 19 says, “If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life and out of the holy city...” Some versions make the Word easier to understand, but if it changes the meaning of the Word, the Bible tells us to let them be cursed.
In Galatians 1:7-8 it says,
“…but there be some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we or angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
The Devil is trying to deceive God’s people, even with the very Word of God, or any other way possible. The Devil deceived one third of the angels in heaven. So God cast him and those angels out of heaven. He is still on his mission, until God throws him, his angels, and all the people that he is able to deceive into the eternal lake of fire. The Devil will bring about false prophets. They will show great signs and wonders. “In so much, he will deceive the very elects if it were possible” (Matt. 24:24).
The Devil has declared war against God’s Word. The Word is being diluted and thrown out of churches across America and in other places. I visited a church in another country, and some of the same perverted teaching was already in progress there. The Devil’s last stand is to overthrow God’s people. Second Corinthians 11:14-15 says, “…for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light, therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness whose end shall be according to their works.”
In 1 John 5:7 it says, “For there are three that bear record in heaven the father, the word, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one.” If your Bible does not read like this, it came from Satan’s mutilated Alexandrian manuscript. Also, beware of Bible footnotes they often favor the Alexandrian text. There are a lot of verses that have been deleted completely or left out. For example, in the book of Matthew 17:21 it says, “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” This verse has been omitted in many Bible versions. Remember, the Devil does not want you to fast, because when you fast and pray, the flesh becomes weak but the spirit becomes strong. God realizes that you are sincere in your prayer and He will answer your prayer. The Devil does not want you to fast because there is a great benefit in it.
Matthew 18:11 it states, “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.” Satan does not want you to know that you are lost. He wants you to think everything is okay and that you are on the right track. If you die, you will find out that everything was not okay. Matthew 23:14 says, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.” The Devil does not want you to know that some spiritual leaders are actually going to hell. He wants you to think that they are just fine. You will be misled if you do not study God’s Word.
Have you heard of “the clergy project”? These are ministers who are atheists. Some of them are still in leadership positions. Some of them have left the church. CNN, NBC, RSN, NPR have held interviews with this organization.
The words in the Bible are being fulfilled. Second Thessalonians 2:3-3 says, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposesth and exalted himself above all that is called God; or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” Please read the rest of this chapter for yourself.
Mark 7:16 says, “If any man have an ear to hear let him hear.” Mark 9:44 says this regarding hell, “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” You see, Satan doesn’t want you to know about hell. Satan—the adversary, the Devil, the deceiver—would like for you to believe that when you die—you are done. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:27 that “…it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment.”
Mark 11: 26 says this about unforgiveness, “If ye do not forgive neither will your father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” Yet, the Devil wants you to be unforgiving. Why else would this be left out some Bible versions? In the Lord’s Prayer, we are told to forgive those who trespass against us. These words have been deleted in some Bible versions, and this is a really big omission. Do you realize that without forgiveness you are lost? First John 3:15 says, “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderers hath eternal life abiding in him.”
You must ask the Lord to forgive you of things that you have done that you know were wrong. And He will forgive you. Not asking for forgiveness leads to feelings of guilt. And living with guilt can lead to depression. That depression can lead to addictions (e.g. alcohol, drugs, or even food). Sometimes suicide is the result of unforgiveness in the heart. It is also important when you have wronged someone, if it is possible, to let them know that you are sorry for whatever it was you did, and ask them to forgive you. If they don’t forgive you, you have done your part and God, through Jesus Christ, will forgive you. You no longer need to carry this guilt around—you are free!
In the gospel of Matthew 6:14-15 it states, “If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” If this passage is removed, it can open the door to racism and hatred in our hearts. My dad worked for a woman that said she hated Japanese people because her husband was killed in World War II. Her husband was a pilot, and his plane was shot down. Was he saved? Who knows? Maybe he made peace with the Lord before he died. However, if she did not repent and ask for forgiveness, on judgment day, the two will be in very different places.
This is of such great concern. Let me give you some examples that you may be able to understand more clearly. There are times when a person is a witness to a crime and has to testify in court. Sometimes they will tell lies about another person just because they are of a different race. In God’s Word, it tells us if you have respect of persons, or make exceptions of persons, you are committing a sin. Sin is what separates us from God. If you vote for someone because they are of your race and not for their political stance—it is wrong. Dr. Martin Luther King said that the content of the character of a person is what is most important and not the color of his or her skin. If you lie for someone just because they are your church member, college sorority brother/sister, fellow police officer, union member, from the same political party, or even blood relative etc.—it is wrong.
The Bible tells us that all liars will have their part in the lake of fire. If you have hatred in your heart because of past sins, I don’t care if was committed during Bible times, slavery, the Holocaust, or even something that has recently occurred—you have to forgive to be forgiven. The Bible tells us that vengeance belongs to the Lord. Even if you have forgiven others, they may never change their ways. But forgiveness does not mean that you have to continue to socialize with them. The Bible tells us to abstain from all appearance of evil, by doing so you will not get burned again. A farmer once said that if a mule kicks you once, that is the mules fault. If the mule kicks you twice—it is your fault!
Mark 15:28 says, “And the Scripture was fulfilled, which saith, and he was numbered with the transgressors.” This is another example of a passage that has been completely left out or made a footnote by elite scholars who have written new Bible versions. Once again, that is an error. This is a prophecy that was written between 745 and 680 BC by the prophet Isaiah. In the book of Isaiah chapter 53:12, it says, “Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” This is where Jesus—the Christ—took on the sin of the whole world. Please understand, after Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, humanity was under the sin curse because of Satan.
In the Old Testament, we read that provision had to be made in order to offer up sacrifices to God for Israel’s sins. The priests had to receive the offering. The offering was burned on the altar, and the smoke ascended. The people’s sins were then forgiven. The sacrifice had to be made by way of a spotless animal; they could not be sick or lame. Israel even offered up fine flour to God. It could not be full of weevils or something that could not be properly used. Eventually, this system, designed by God, was abused and misused because of the love of money. Therefore, God sent His only begotten Son—the perfect sacrifice. Through Him there is eternal life (See John 3:16). First Timothy 2:5 says, “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus…” Now, why would this passage be removed from some Bible versions? I believe they don’t want to recognize Jesus as the mediator. You cannot get to the Father except through the Son—Jesus Christ.
In chapter 16, of the gospel of Mark, verses nine through twenty has all been left out in many Bible versions. Here we go again (Please read this for yourself). Perhaps they don’t want you to know that a person can have multiple demons or that the demons can be cast out. Have you heard of people with multiple personalities? It is the same thing. Or maybe they don’t want you to recognize that Jesus rose from the grave on the third day, just like He said He would. Or maybe they want to hide verse 16, where He said that he who believes and is baptized, shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned (Emphasis added). Or maybe they want you to be unaware of this verse:
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17)
Maybe the Devil does not want you to know the power that is in the name of Jesus. By the way, the Lord does not want you to prove anything to anybody by picking up snakes or drinking poison. He said, “If you drink any deadly poison it will not hurt you.” After Jesus had gone to glory, do you remember that Paul accidentally picked up a serpent and was not hurt? The Bible tells us not to tempt the Lord our God. The Devil tried to tempt Jesus after He had fasted for forty days. He tried to tempt him with food, tried to get him to commit suicide, all these things were written that we would have a better understanding of the Word. (See Matthew 4:1)
In Luke 17:36, it says two men will be in the field, one will be taken and the other left. I don’t know why this verse has been removed from some Bible versions. Perhaps it is because of repetition, since in the book of Matthew (24:40) it says, “Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.” In verse 41 it continues, “Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.” These gospels were written by two different writers. I would say, leave it as it has been written. But read it up above and down below, perhaps you will come up with a sound reason for the omission. Perhaps they don’t want you to know that the Lord is coming back.
Matthew 13:38 says, “The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one.” The enemy that sowed them is the Devil. The harvest is the end of the world. The reapers are the angels. When the Lord returns for His people, two men will be at work, one will be saved and the other will not. One will leave and one will stay behind.
The Bible tells us to seek and we will find. It also says in 2 Timothy 2:15, to “study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” In the gospel of Luke (chapter 23) where it states that Herod was to release one prisoner unto them (the crowd) at the feasts, this verse was also deleted from many Bible versions. Maybe they don’t want you to understand that there was a choice between releasing Jesus or Barabbas. But did they really have a choice? After all, their hearts were hardened. In John 10:17 it says, “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.” And we, as Christians, know that He rose like He said He would.
John 5:4 was also deleted from some Bible versions. That verse says, “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.” Perhaps these scholars don’t believe in healing. Perhaps they are purposely leaving things out which contradict their beliefs. This is of the Devil. The Devil wants to be in control of your healing and not allow the Lord to be in control. He wants you to bow down and worship him in all areas of your life.
Acts 8:37 says, “And Philip said, ‘If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest.’ And he answered and said, ‘I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.’” This has been left out of some versions. Do they not want you to know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?
Through Jesus Christ, 1 John 5:7 says, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” Some don’t recognize the Trinity. The word Trinity is not in the Bible, but we do know that it consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost—these three make one. They are in agreement. The word Bible is also not in the Bible, but we know what it is. Revelation 22:19 tells us, “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” There are many other verses that have been completely removed throughout these other versions.
Please read the Scripture for yourself. Seek the Lord for a better understanding of His Word. Don’t depend on others to do it for you. What you will read in this book was given to me by much fasting and prayer. When you pray, you are talking to God, through Jesus Christ. When you read the Bible, God is talking to you through His Holy Word. When you fast, you “kill” the flesh and the Spirit can come in. When you are weak, then He is strong. The Bible tells us to fast and pray often.
Everything that you need to know about life is in the Bible. There are sixty-six books in the Bible. Haven’t you heard about 666, the mark of the Beast? This is where Satan is trying to take over God’s people through deception with the Bible (or by force). The reason I wrote Truth or Deception? Is because of what I have seen in people, those who are supposed to believe in Christ Jesus. From the pulpit to the cemetery—they are being lied to—thinking they are living according to God’s Word. On just about any Sunday or Saturday, you will hear about tithes and nothing, or very little, about sin or hell. Satan does not want you to know how to live a true Christian life. The Devil has deceived the world, including the media (by way of radio, television, movies, computers, internet, and music).
Through time, I have accumulated many notes, so it came to me in a dream to lend greater focus on two things more than anything else. The first thing is to let people know about hell and the second is to show them how to be saved. Life is so short. The Bible says in James 4:14, “For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” So will you spend eternity in the lake of fire or heaven?
