Finalmente l'Autore ebbe sì buona ventura, che alcuni fra gli attori stessi degli avvenimenti, ch'egli ha descritti, si sono degnati di fargli copia di parecchi manuscritti di grande importanza, alla cortesia de' quali ci rende in questo luogo, siccome dee, con grato animo pubblica e solenne testimonianza.
