ОглавлениеQUEEN ELIZABETH II
Why Her Majesty the Queen? Because she is the longest reigning monarch in British history, which means that she has dedicated her entire life in service to her country, putting herself and her interests always second. She is an example of dedication and sense of duty; of hard work and determination; of resilience and adaptability. She has been a privileged witness of all major events of the 20th century and has successfully rendered her reign more modern, open and sensitive to a changing public, while maintaining the traditions associated with the Crown. For me, she is the living symbol of British culture.
