Оглавление+ The Group Process +
There are many theories regarding group process. I have developed this group format based on the common needs of men in recovery that was assessed since starting therapeutic recovery groups. It has been helpful to utilize Bruce Tuckman's team development model (1965, 1970) to standardize the group process.
Group dynamics requires a systematic process whereby the members are introduced to the group format which includes goals, expectations and rule setting. These clear-cut goals serve to enhance safety and allow men to build rapport with other members and the facilitators.
FORM – Developing group cohesion
NORM – Establishing group rules and expectations
STORM – Conflict management, regulation and resolution
PERFORM – Experiential and process work
ADJOURN – Separation/closure from existing group and future goal identification
