Sweet Zephyr from celestial isles

That all the earth with joy beguiles,

I would that thou wouldst blow to me,

And blow to me thy purest breathing song;

I would that thou wouldst come to me

And tell to me whate’er is right and wrong;

I would that thou wouldst lay thy hand

And rest thy hand upon my throbbing brow,

And that the words thou giv’st to me

And tak’st from me would be received as thou.
