ОглавлениеWhen Drew and Beth hear a story about leprechauns, they venture deep into the woods to try to catch one, using golden marigolds, honey, and bread as bait.
They encounter and save the life of a sprite named Ollie. Ollie takes the two children to Spriteville to meet his friends and rewards Drew and Beth with a magic crystal that can help lead them to a leprechaun.
Continuing their search, Drew and Beth get lost in the Haunted Forest and are captured by the evil Ardahn, who wants the leprechaun’s gold and the magic crystal for himself. Ardahn forces Drew and Beth to help him capture the leprechaun and then steals his gold. Without his gold, the leprechaun will lose his magic, wither away, and die. So Drew and Beth must get the gold from Ardahn and return it to the leprechaun before it’s too late.
With the help of the sprites and the animals in the Enchanted Forest, Beth and Drew take the gold from Ardahn and return it to the leprechaun, who is barely clinging to life. Beth places the magic crystal into the pot of gold and tries to revive the leprechaun, but Drew and Beth fall asleep while waiting for him to come to. When they awaken, the leprechaun is gone, and they are surrounded by acres of golden marigolds. The light of the rainbow is again restored, and the leprechaun and his magic crystal have never been seen again.
