Chapter 1 MLK as a Coward—Is It Just One’s Perception?

Оглавление

When you call a man a coward, you have to know who you are dealing with. Otherwise, you could misread your enemy and end up losing big time in the end. Some of the most dangerous people to have ever walked the earth were not those who slaughtered a million people, but rather those who have masterminded the biggest plots known to man, and seen them through till the end without getting their hands dirty. When people talk about Dr. King, they tend to think of him as a martyr—a religious martyr. If you are one of those people, I wonder if you realize just how much you have been conditioned to view King in a traditionally bogus light. In a way, one could say that King was a martyr, a religious one, because he was a devout Christian who endured much hate-related treatment prior to his demise. So, from the Christian standpoint, because the Bible says that Jesus suffered during the Crucifixion, the visual images of King enduring similar treatment, before death, cause most Christians to associate King’s maltreatment with the affliction of Christ. This paints him as a “sufferer,” which, from the religious perspective, makes him a martyr. But this is not a religious issue. King was not Christ. King was King. And, truth be told, his way of thinking was bigger than Christianity or religion.

So, if Martin Luther King was not a martyr, what was he, then? The answer to that question is as follows:

Rather than a “martyr,” which connotes weakness, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was a battlefield architect, a strategy specialist, who, through bold maneuvers, engendered change and shrewdly provoked his own demise for the betterment of humanity.

King was more than a martyr, and he had balls bigger than those of Jesus Christ. Some people would probably argue that Jesus had no balls at all. While Christ is said to have not even challenged the powers that be outside of preaching on the Sabbath, Martin Luther King was out there on the front lines, like, “Come and get me!” He was far from a coward. So, when this subject arises, a person’s perception literally holds no weight. Hell with perception—it is all about fact. And the fact is that even King himself said that he was not a coward. Here is a well-known quote from Dr. King on the subject:

Cowardice asks the question—is it safe?

Vanity asks the question—is it popular?

Expediency asks the question—is it political?

But conscience asks the question—is it right?

There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, popular, or political; but because it is right.

According to King’s own words, in order for him to have been a coward, he would have had to be asking the question “Is it safe?” But King was not asking this question. He did not give a damn if his strategic maneuvers were “safe” or not. He executed them anyway—and a coward would not have done that.

The skewed, coward-related perception of Martin Luther King is somewhat pervasive in the mass media. However, it is mostly an undertone, rather than blatantly obvious. Obviously, this is because, due to fear of public backlash, no one really wants to come out and say what they really think about Dr. King. I have even seen bigots affiliated with the Klan hold their tongues. But there are some people who “just don’t give a fuck,” as they would probably say. One particular video that I recently saw on YouTube comes to mind when I think about this. I want you to see this video, which is entitled “MLK was a house negro COWARD.” It was posted on January 16, 2012, I believe. Go to YouTube and type the above title into the search box, hit search, and the video should pop up. Remember what I said earlier in the Introduction about some of the people calling King a coward being too radical to understand the concept of tactical maneuver? Well, in my opinion, this video falls into that category. You will see what I mean when you watch it for yourself.

The problem with this video is that its ideology is based on the “house Negro-field Negro” philosophy explicated by Malcolm X and others back in the 60s, when such a philosophy seemed fitting, due to the mass tension and racial turmoil between blacks and whites at that time. All of this talk of “house” and “field” Negroes may seem cool to those whose minds are still stuck on the plantation, but, to people who truly understand strategy, frankly, it seems stupid. Let me tell you why. For the most part, a strategist has no boundaries. If field Negroes have less power than house Negroes, a strategist who, to the very core, could be defined as a field Negro, would have no problem infiltrating the house and posing as those inside of it in order to accomplish his or her mission without detection. That is the shrewd route. The typical field Negro, however, due to ego, would not even enter the house. His idea of destroying it would be setting fire to it from the outside. But, after being burned down, a bigger house would simply be constructed, making the fire good for nothing. Therefore, that is the stupid route. Would not it be easier to maneuver one’s way into the house and shrewdly finagle the owners into playing the cards that one deals? Any coward could set a house aflame, but it takes a bold man to walk through a fire and convince the man who set him aflame to put that fire out. And this is what Dr. Martin Luther King did. Now the common field Negroes in America are just burning themselves.

Anyway, I want you to watch another video on YouTube regarding this subject. Though labeled a video, it is really just an audio recording. But check it out anyway. It is entitled “Martin Luther King Wasn’t a Coward!” by Doggie Diamonds, a radio personality. This video/recording was posted a few days ago, as of this writing. Like me, Mr. Diamonds is fed up with all of the ignorance concerning this whole matter. He believes that descriptions of King as “pussy” and a “coon” are inaccurate, and that King’s position on the front line, in spite of being arrested and even attacked by dogs, is proof that he was no coward. But check it out and judge for yourself.

I was also just reading an article entitled “Schietter Destroys Snowden: I Don’t Remember Martin Luther King Jr. or Rosa Parks Hiding In China,” written by Evan McCurry, and the title is so true. To be honest, King never ran. He faced down his enemies daily, and that is something that cowards just do not do. I even googled the word “coward” to see what would pop up, and, among other things, I found the following definition: “A person who lacks the courage to do or endure dangerous or unpleasant things.” Another definition says: “Excessively afraid of danger or pain.” Neither of these definitions applies to Dr. King. Rather, they seem to describe the milksops and namby-pambies of today who tend to pop up on all kinds of scenes trying to walk in Dr. King’s shoes. You know who they are—complete jokes. And, in my opinion, one of them literally looks like a clown—with a perm.

The point is, in spite of what people are saying about the so-called cowardice of Martin Luther King, the facts of the matter prove otherwise. I could go on and on with fact after fact to further back this assertion, but I believe that my point in this chapter has been well-made. As you will see in detail very shortly, in the third chapter, MLK was a mastermind. So shrewd was he that even so-called “scholars” who have been studying his life and teachings for decades have overlooked his strategic genius. So brainwashed by their own inductive reasoning, and by what they have been taught and told to believe, they are probably pulling out the hair around their bald spots, trying to figure out how in the hell a young man of my age could even assert such a thing about King being a mastermind. But I have unlocked the secret, my friend, and you have a front-row seat to its exposure. All I want you to do is pay attention, keep your mind on the facts, and think like a general, because that is exactly what Dr. King was—an astute one at that. Simply by reading this, you have become a part of history re-written, and King would be proud of you for actually having the balls (or the ovaries) to buck convention, open your mind and truly see him for what and who he really was—a tactical whiz kid. As he peers down from the Mountaintop of the World’s Greatest Strategists, he knows that this now integrated America, with its eighth “black” president, is much better off now than it was before him. Therefore, perception has no place in this argument. At the end of the day, King won. This is a fact...and it is the only thing that matters.
