I NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN able to attend the University of Michigan without the generous love and support of my mother and father. A hearty thanks to Chris and Candice Young, who helped to make me a Michigan Man. Their many sacrifices paved the way for me to play football from an early age all the way through college.

I also want to thank my football coaches who made a lasting impression on my life. Thank you to Pete Gilliam, who helped me learn to love the sport; Shawn Watton, who always pushed me to be better; and Bobby Morrison, who recruited me to Michigan. A final thank you to Coach Brady Hoke, who made four years of Michigan football fun and exciting.
