Governed by the strong influence of Mercury, the Virgo man is intellectual, insightful and swift. You have an eye for detail, an uncanny ability to read between the lines, and you can gauge a person or situation by distinguishing reality from superficiality. This may sound advantageous, but it’s not always so. This ability can sometimes label you as a nit-picker, or someone who imposes his perfectionism on everyone else. But this not really how you operate.

You commit yourself to executing a job with immaculate perfection. You also try to improve a situation or relationship, especially when it is crumbling before your eyes. You’re vocal about your opinions and may incur the mistrust of others who may not be as insightful. This may generate a rift between you and the significant others in your life.

Personally, I often find it difficult to gauge exactly who you are. This is a result of the two-fold nature of your ruling planet, Mercury, which means that you are clearly discernible from one side and entirely unseen from the other. You are guarded about revealing your qualities and this subtly accentuates your power. You even take others by surprise when you manifest traits they didn’t know existed. This forms an integral part of your personality and lends insight into how you can balance your own ideals with the needs of others. You’ll find that compromise will allow you to experience more contentment in life.

OBSESSIVE VIRGO

Your insistence on hygiene, cleanliness and precision can often be too overpowering for others. You may even live out your daily life with a certain obsessive, orderly regimen. While this is normal to you, others may view it as some kind of compulsive disorder.

While your cleanliness poses no problem to those outside your living space, the real challenge arises after marriage or while sharing your physical space with others. Don’t allow your sense of perfection to stifle those around you, and try to find a middle ground to coexist with others peacefully.

On the surface, you may appear aloof, but this is your way of preventing errors in life. You like to be pragmatic and measured rather than boisterously social with strangers. For you, efficient living means employing your innate wisdom to arrive at sane life decisions without creating an emotional cloud.

Virgo men rate steadfastness, commitment and self-improvement as highly desirable and sought-after qualities. This schema can often be out of reach for others, and you may find yourself alone and disconnected from those who fail to match up to your expectations.

In friendship, you are hesitant to let go and usually confine yourself to the company of a few trusted friends. You aren’t overtly expressive and don’t trust easily, which is why people must give you time to open up completely.
