I truly believe that when the time is right, you will meet people who will help train you at the level you are at in life…the spiritual level. This has been the case in my life throughout the years. I can clearly recognize the pattern:

They were men, usually about 10 years or so older than me. They were spiritual men, and also good friends. They never once judged me about my lifestyle or belief system. They just loved me as a brother.

I consider these mentors my best friends to this day. Dave Lukasiak is one of those men. I met Dave in Okinawa, Japan as a Marine stationed there. I have since left Okinawa, but I continue to study with Dave on-line once a week.

This book is about learning and Dave is a unique teacher. He has a true love and compassion for people. His easy-going attitude and sense of humor promote a comfortable atmosphere that invites and motivates his students to learn.

The supernatural can be taught. People these days are extremely hungry for the true spiritual life. One of the great and surprising benefits of studying with Dave is that whatever topic we happen to be on, there is always some practical manifestation of the very thing we are studying! Some real life event will actually occur to help me understand the subject better.

For example, a few years ago Dave was teaching on Divine healing. We were on this topic for about two or three months when one of my buddies in the Marines came down with an illness and became paralyzed. I went and prayed with him. A few days later he was completely healed!

When studying on How to train the human spirit, I began to learn how to pay attention to my gut feeling. In every case, this intuition, inner knowing or inward witness has proved more reliable than my own reasoning. During combat in Afghanistan, I relied on my gut (human spirit) more than on what I saw and heard around me. It proved correct every time and I avoided some bad situations. In fact, my platoon was the only one out of an entire battalion that did not take any casualties. (In actuality, that is not completely accurate. One man was hit with a tiny piece of shrapnel to his finger when a grenade exploded about 10 feet away from us. But that is an entirely different story.)

The thing I like about Dave’s teachings is that they are practical, in that he explains the “how to” part of spiritual laws; how they work and how to operate them.

In any case, I am in this thing for the long haul. Dave has become a good friend. Our on-line sessions are precious to me, and it’s one thing I really look forward to each week.

The principles Dave teaches are based on spiritual laws. Spiritual laws do not change. And like electricity, their power can be harnessed for anyone who dares to plug into them.
