ОглавлениеThe Power of One
The Power of One book has a twofold purpose. (1) To show the influence of a single Saint, who trusts the Word of God, could change the world. The Bible is straightforward:For nothing is impossible with "the Author of all things," Luke 1:37, (NIV84). (2) To point out how Christian bodies working in concert as one Body of Jesus Christ can be progressive for millions. As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another—Proverbs 27:17 (NIV84).
For sure, whether one Saint or the neighborhood congregations, it is electrifying to see a committed Christian or Christians working together for eternal preservation, regardless of denominations, especially when the neighboring Churches in the city and around the world come together. As one to resolve problems in THE LORD'S NAME, instead of trying to reduce each other to nothingness.
"I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree with one another so there may be no divisions among you and that you may be united in mind and thought," 1 Corinthians 1:10.
So, a multitude of the Saints has significant powers under the banner of salvation. Still, no one should ever underestimate the effect that a single Saint holds; see Acts 6: 8. For the flame of righteousness burns bright within his or her souls, and throughout eternity, not one member of humanity can subdue the glow of grace and mercy in him or her. On righteousness account, magnify and cheer one's accomplishmentknowing in Christ, a Saint is impenetrable when the adversary is attacking. Come what may, the flames of Holiness are insuppressible in the Saints. Their glow continues to shine forth to compel sanctification.
"For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints, and marrow; it judges the heart's thoughts and attitudes," Hebrews 4: 12.
Despite the compassion of salvation, a Saint or Saints may face many intense battles, but he or she must stand, having done all to stand, still stand. They must then rise above the troubles, unyielding in their faith as they move away from anxieties. Regardless of future problems, the Bible encourages believers to strengthen themselves in the Spirit.
THE ALL-WISE has placed everything within the Glorified to win. Thus, accept oneself and know the self is extraordinary. With the Comforter, the Saints are more durable than their hostilities and more ferocious than their fears. Every believer understands the Good Shepherd provides comfort and strength in those who trust in Him. So, encourage oneself and continue to stand in the superpower of righteousness.
Being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully, Colossians 1:11 (NIV84).
Notwithstanding, many miracles in the spiritual realm are outside the Saints' present understanding, so to make them accessible, the believers must forsake the life that makes them feel invulnerable. Inarguably, Christians should come out of the pews' cheering section and get into the Lionheart's evangelism work to expand the Kingdom's borders, 1 Peter 3: 15. The King of Glory has given each one of His children the intellect to write their story. He does not want His people to live by the words written by the world. Unless the All-Knowing people move past the negative connotation recorded in their past, they cannot reach for the blessings in front.
For instance, problems take form in the spiritual realm, so it is the Saint's responsibility to resolve them in the heart, after which the solution can be easy to detect in the temporal. God's people must practice seeing folks according to the spirit instead of what they are doing in the flesh. Because thereality of troubles only manifests itself in the physical world. But humankind's inner lives are eternal, which remains youthful and vigorous as they come into the world. The Holy Spirit does what the flesh cannot; enlivens the mind and brings the total of righteous transmitted behavior into one's life.
The Spirit of the Maker of Heaven and Earth indwelling in His believers gives them the divine ability to see spiritual truth, which changes one's perception of material facts. Note, Jesus shared with Nicodemus that the Spirit is like the wind; hence, no one knows i where it is coming from or where it is going; thus, the Saints know only the wind's effects.
The Holy Spirit is invisible as the wind. However, all Christians know and feel HIS presence. Because HE supports a believer's self-confidence and courage when facing opposition, then HE assures God's people, they can always depend on the Counselor.
ii For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They conflicted with each other, so you do not do what you want, Galatians 5: 17.
Regardless of the circumstances, the person or congregation who understands their God-given power has the foresight of where they are going and insight of "WHOSE" they are. He or she can see the hidden possibilities and never limit themselves in choices of what they can only have or understand in flesh and blood. I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable, 1 Corinthians 15:50 (NIV84).
So, the Saints suppress their soul to accept the natural as usual or locked themselves up in the character of a tangible scheme of unsolvable life's drama. Living in the ordinary remains a question mark at or on the heels of the interplay of conflicting elements. Like the above, life is full of conflicts, and Christians cannot solve most in the secular. The Glorified must settle spiritual tensions in one's spirit foremost; only then will the solutions manifest a resolution in the physical.
"To you, O LORD, I lift my soul; in YOU, I trust, O my God. Do not let them shame me, nor let my enemy's triumph over me," Psalm 25:1–2.
After the Saints settle life's issues in the heart, troubles cannot defeat them. Thus, the power of Christians under the standard of righteousness is unconquerable. However, the Saints must continue to exercise faith in their purpose and an unattainable spirit to win, regardless of circumstances (see Romans 8: 28). Then success is theirs! Christians are the masters of their predetermined journey. Though, the mission that the Holy Spirit set before them is doable if they have faith in their mission and adopt an invincible spirit to win; hence, victory is imminent.
For instance, Jesus' Apostles' were ordinary people, but they unified themselves to minister under Sanctification's virtues, followed by extraordinary ministry missions. Then, in Luke chapter 10, Jesus anointed seventy-two of HIS disciples, pairing them up a two-by-two and sending them under the banner of redemption, followed by unfailing ministry works. The seventy-two returned with joy and said, "Lord, even the demons surrender to us in YOUR NAME." Jesus replied, "I have given the Saints iii authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you," study Luke 10: 17–20.So,Saints, that is under the Spiritual Powers of the Holy Spirit; nothing is invincible. The Redeemer saved every Saint as the mastermind of his or her destiny, yet it is the Holy Spirit that tames the human spirit. That being so, the believers who try to build their character without the Holy Spirit doom themselves to deceptive conspiracy theories. When the Saints allow the Holy Spirit to take control of one's spirit, no one can conquer or stop their mission-study 2 Timothy 3: 17.
However, the Saints who try to do the Lord's work by their human strength understand it is exhausting of any job. Though, when the Holy Spirit dwells within, then the ministry of Jesus flows out of them. They learn immediately, pointless for Christians trying to serve God without the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said,"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing, John 15: 5 (NIV84).
One's unique talent, or Seminary training and years of ministry experience, cannot replace the power of the Spirit of Wisdom. The Holy Spirit's crucial ministry is not to give emotional hypes but to create a Christlike character in the Saints. The Apostle agrees, "To this, ministry THE LORD called us, because Christ suffered for us, leaving His people an example, that we should follow in his steps," 1 Peter 2: 21.
However, the believers squander their power and the good they could have done by not trying. Christian maturity has never come without faith and works and believing in oneself. Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done, Matthew 21: 21 (NIV84).
Therefore, unbelief is a traitor to Christian sanctification. Remember, no matter how discouraging tasks, God's people are the only ones that can limit themselves by the thoughts they think. So, whether one Saint or many Saints, God's people are the masters of their reality. Self-awareness of wholesome thinking is when Jesus said: "all things are possible." THE LORD wants believers to master their world and let not doubt and fear preventing them from accomplishing their dreams.
The Bible is straightforward, "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does," James 1: 5–8 (NIV84).
