ОглавлениеNot all containers are going to be round, for example the one used in this terrarium.
To make the layers for this piece, I chained until it was one stitch shy of being the length of the container, then just singled crocheted in rows until it was one row shy of filling the depth. Then crochet around all the edges with a Chain for each corner.
You can work your layers in any fiber you want, you could even just cut squares of felt if you prefer.
I like to use medium weight yarn, it works up faster and gives a nice finished texture.
If you choose to use thread or floss, keep in mind that you will need to work bigger layers and more of them to fill your container.
If you use chunky yarn the layer will work up even faster but be even thicker.
Using a combination of fibers can create some lovely texture.
