Gaby DeGroat is a retired elementary school music teacher and composer. She's currently a children's book author and the founder of Booksurprises, a 501c3 charity. Booksurprises donates books to needy children. The author celebrates children and hopes to inspire a love of reading in young readers. Her books include Ten Little Ballerinas, My Purple Kingdom, Marshmallow Sky, The Pigtastic adventures of Daisy and Ollie Pig, and Me Encanta' (I love Puerto Rico).
