Radial paralysis
ОглавлениеThis condition is common, and is usually a result of a calf being trapped in a gate or creep. It can also occur after a kick from a cow. The calf will be fracture lame, but when the leg is placed on the ground it will be able to bear weight on the affected leg without difficulty or pain. The calf should be given NSAIDs to reduce the inflammation but will normally learn to flick the leg forward as it walks and show a total recovery in 6 weeks.
