SEMICOKE is a carbonaceous material intermediate between a fusible MESOPHASE PITCH and a non‐deformable GREEN COKE produced by incomplete CARBONIZATION at temperatures between the onset of fusion (of coal, approximately 620 K), and complete devolatilization.
