I dedicate this guide to my wife, Delores, and my five children, Brad, Bruce, Susan, Brett, and Shelley. Under duress at times, they’ve accompanied me on numerous fishing excursions.

I also dedicate this guide to my many fishing friends.

They have taught me the fine points of reading water, casting, and selecting flies; the necessity of good equipment; and how to camp in perfect misery on a beautiful, warm summer day.
