I cannot begin to describe what a thrill and honor it is to be able at last to publish in e-book format, this book of poems given me by the Holy Spirit. In my first effort to publish as a print book, I had planned on calling this book, Anointed Poems. His was because the source of each poem (as you will clearly see) was and is the Holy Spirit. But when telling my late wife

Dodie, of my intended title, she said the Holy Spirit had just told her that was not to be the title God wanted on this book. Dodie said it was to be called, 21st Century Psalms. She said that is because each poem is in fact a modern day Psalm.

I had to agree, and thought what a great title! So in 2008 I self published a large print version having 206 pages, containing 118 poems (one of which was written by Dodie). I hope to put Dodie’s poem in one of the upcoming volumes in the not too distant future.

Yes, in all, I hope to put out a total of seven volumes of 21st Century Psalms. Each containing what I believe will be spiritually helpful, thought provoking, inspirational, and of course, having the same powerful anointing as you will find in this first volume.

I am particularly happy to be able to get this first volume out in time for the upcoming celebration of Christmas. You will find several powerful and timely psalms regarding Christmas.That wonderful season which is being taken over by commercialization. Christmas has always been a money making event. It is a very special season which appears to be occurring earlier and earlier every year. However these days, the worldly focus seems to be on the arrival of Santa Clause, rather than celebration of the arrival of the Savior of the world! I believe these powerful psalms will inspire true Christians everywhere to work at restoring the honor and glory which our Savior, the Son of God alone deserves.

But enough said! It is now time for me to encourage you to enjoy these psalms given me (God’s servant), to share with you. When you have finished reading, please note my plea for your help at the end of this book.
