Dedication
This book is dedicated to the thousands of people who have “like”d The Thinker, my atheist page on facebook at www.facebook.com/TheThinkerPagedotcom. With you either deciding to “like” or not “like” my original quotes, you have helped me choose which samples of my own writing I have contributed to this book.
In memory of Corporal Pat Tillman, an atheist who left his professional American football career and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2002 in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, attacks. He joined the Army Rangers and served several tours in combat before he died in the mountains of Afghanistan. He was awarded the Silver Star and 10 other Military Honors.
“I don’t know that atheists should be considered citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under god.” –George H.W. Bush, ex-President of the United States
Pat Tillman: American. Citizen. Atheist. Patriot.
