Patterns apparent in successful businesses include:

•having a shared commitment to the future of the business;

•owners, managers and employees meeting together to address conflict and maintain communication;

•negotiations of agreements to support fair process in ownership dealings, and

•conscientious, on going planning.

This commitment should include supporting the business’s existing and future vision and goals, a willingness to contribute to the organisation, and a desire for a continued relationship with the business and relevant stakeholders.
