When Dad comes home, what can he do to help me?

Dad can:

• understand that Mom and I had a hard time while he was in jail

• use the good stuff he learned during his reentry classes at home with me and our whole family

• know that his mistakes are not my mistakes

• show me he can give himself a chance and create better avenues for himself

• listen to me about my thoughts and feelings

• talk to me

• respect me and my privacy

• be honest

• love me

• trust me

• make time to be with me

• help me with homework

• try to understand me

• do things together as a family like go to the movies, play games, and have dinners together.
