Jasmine’s in bloom in the white bridal dress,

Streaming the fragrance – sublime and so tender.

June’s in its prime, and despite all the stress

Of the school proms, they are here to remember.

Youngsters are getting mature and tall,

Wearing suits, ties and looking so handsome.

Girls are excited about the ball,

Anticipating, romantic and graceful.

Lime-trees are dropping sweet nectar, their scent

Is in the air – enchanting and dizzy,

Heart-shaped green leaves, golden blossoms have sent

The youth their blessings and are keeping them busy.

Tonight is the night of the midsummer dreams,

The time of festivities and celebration

Of our freedom and summer solstice,

New grown-up life and, of course – the vacations!
