I am K. Eyck, and I wrote this booklet for anyone who has to deal with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) at a young age.

A close friend, Sophia Wilhelmina, once told me that she has, so much support for her kitten Leo. I suggested she write a book about it. She liked that idea.

But now she thought writing another book was becoming too much, because she is still trying to gain fame with her first book (My Life with PTSD), which is not exactly easy. That's why she asked me to write it on her behalf. I didn't expect that, but I thought it was a good idea. That's why I wrote this book for her, and about her.

She told me intense stories, but also nice stories about what she had been through.

I try to alternate those stories a little, so that it remains nice to read the book. We really enjoyed working on this booklet together, and we hope we can help families with it.

Sophia had once read that there are many families, one of whom has been diagnosed with PTSD. But it is very difficult to explain what this disease is.

We want to try to explain what PTSD is for illness, and how that can come across in your immediate surroundings.

I hope we can give a little bit of help to talk about it with the family. A lot of strength.
