ОглавлениеIn bringing together Creative Research Methods in Education: Principles and Practices, there are many people who should be thanked and acknowledged.
It is important to thank all of the researchers, participants, practitioners and students that we have worked with, who have inspired us to write this book, offered ideas and engaged with us in informal conversations that have been central in bringing this project to fruition.
Katy Vigurs was instrumental in the early stages of helping to shape the book, and we are grateful for her guidance and input. Additionally, we are thankful to everyone who gave us permission to use images in our case studies, namely Stacy Bias, Clare Danek, Constantino Dumangane, EJ Renold, Jon Rainford, Pat Thomson, Katy Vigurs, Kate Wall and Jo Earp on behalf of the Australian Council for Educational Research.
We would like to acknowledge the reviewers for their comments and suggestions, which were invaluable in developing this book. We are also grateful to the commissioning, editorial, production and marketing team at Policy Press for their guidance throughout the process of bringing the book to completion. We could not have produced this book without the support of our ever-helpful editors at Policy Press, first Catherine Gray and then Philippa Grand, and their colleagues, whose input has been essential in preparing the manuscript for publication.
Lastly, we would like to thank all our great colleagues, friends and family, and in particular those that are most involved in our everyday lives for their loving presence and enduring support.
On this basis, Helen would like to thank Zoë Clarke, Su Connan, Leigh Forbes, Radhika Holmström, Sharon Inglis, Lucy Pickering, Jon Rainford, Janet Salmons and Katy Vigurs; Mark Miller, Rosalind Round and Jamie Round; and her beloved partner, Nik Holmes.
Narelle would like to thank Katy and Helen for saying yes to her original idea when she pitched this book on a hot sunny day in Derby, and Megan and Dawn, who later joined the team. She would also like to acknowledge Michelle Stockley, Gina Panebianco, Janet Salmons, Siobhan O’Brien, Susie Garvis, Catherine Hoyser, Marni Binder and Sharon McDonough, who have explored various creative ways of working with her over the years.
Dawn would like to thank David, Jamie, Jordon, Sherelle, Tahlia, Taya, Tilleah, Tim, Toyah, Travis and Travis Jay.
Megan would like to thank her family and all the critters, and all her colleagues over the years who have supported her creative research practices. Special thanks to Narelle for her reading and feedback, plotting and friendship over many years.
