I would like to thank the two most important people in my life who have made this book possible—my husband Manoj Nair and my daughter Miara Nair. Without the timely guidance and encouragement that I received from my husband, I wouldn’t have written this book. He has guided me, walked me gently through its concepts, and more importantly, believed in me. His belief went into shaping my own and thus the book came into being. My daughter is just a toddler, but her intelligence and understanding can put an adult to shame. She has been kind to me when it came to time and deadlines. She is my shining star. I am blessed with two such strong pillars and only thank the Universe for giving me this opportunity to be part of my husband and daughter’s life.

I would like to thank two other important people in my life, my best friends Russell Lobo and Shobha Vikram, two of my severest critics and greatest supporters who have pushed, pulled, guided and motivated me through every page of this book. I owe this book to them. I whole heartedly thank you both for being such great friends and even better critics.

I would like to thank my family; my father-in-law Unni Krishnan Nair, my mom Mary Fernando, dad Anthony Fernando, brother Montanus, brother-in-law Ronald Sequeira and especially my sister Camillia who helped me manage time and write this book. A strong support system like a strong family can go a long way in shaping one’s life and this is what my family is all about, love, adjustment and encouragement. Their belief and confidence that I can do just about anything gave me the courage to write this book.
