Оглавлениеhe Creation account is also part of Genesis chapter 2 and is a detailed account of what happened on
the sixth day—particularly related to the creation of Adam and Eve.
Now, let’s take a closer look at what God did on the sixth day. First, God spoke and all the land
animals came into being, each according to its kind, which would have included dinosaurs. Pleased with
everything that was made, God stated twice that it was “good.” He blessed the animals and told them to
be fruitful and multiply, giving them wondrous plants and trees with fruit to eat.
God also planted a garden called Eden. Within the garden, God planted two special
trees — the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Then He made the first man from the dust of the earth, breathing life into him so
he became a living being. This man, Adam, was placed in the Garden of Eden to care for
it and to keep it. As a test of obedience the Lord gave Adam every tree to eat fruit from, except for
one: the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam was warned that he would die if he ate of
that one tree.
