Through grassy meadows and babbling brooks,

She’d venture with wonder, in nooks and in crooks.

With every step, she brought joy to all,

The townsfolk would smile, both big and small.

Ruby, oh Ruby, beloved by the land,

A gentle soul, with a touch of magic in her hand.

But fate had a twist, as darkness fell near,

One fateful night, on Halloween, it’s clear.

Ruby was startled, a sight that was grim,

For she crossed paths with beings so scary and grim.
