Chapter 3: Missing mushrooms
ОглавлениеQueen Mara prepared to embark on her daily rounds. With a smile on her lips and a song in her heart, she ventured out into the forest, her faithful subjects following close behind.
But as Mara wandered through the forest, greeting each mushroom with a warm smile and a gentle touch, she noticed that something was amiss. There seemed to be a sense of unease lingering in the air, a whisper of fear that sent shivers down her spine.
Just as Mara was about to investigate further, a small mushroom named Antonio came running towards her, his cap quivering with worry.
– Your Majesty! – he exclaimed, his voice trembling with urgency. – I have grave news to report. Two of our fellow mushrooms have disappeared without a trace!
Mara’s heart skipped a beat at Antonio’s words. She knew that the safety of her kingdom depended on the well-being of every single mushroom, and the thought of her subjects vanishing into thin air filled her with dread.
– Tell me everything, Antonio, – Mara said, her voice steady despite the fear gnawing at her heart.
– When did this happen? And where were they last seen?
Antonio took a deep breath, his tiny body trembling with emotion. – It happened just yesterday, Your Majesty, – he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
– The two mushrooms were standing on the outskirts of the forest, near the edge of the meadow. They were chatting amongst themselves when suddenly… they were gone.
Mara’s brow furrowed with concern as she listened to Antonio’s tale. She knew that the forest could be a dangerous place, full of hidden perils and unseen dangers. But never before had her subjects vanished without a trace, leaving behind nothing but unanswered questions.
– We must act quickly, – Mara declared, her voice firm with determination. – We cannot allow any more of our mushrooms to disappear. Antonio, gather a search party at once. We must find out what happened to our missing friends and ensure the safety of our kingdom.-
