1. Грамматическое объяснение

Past Simple используется, чтобы говорить о действиях, которые произошли и закончились в прошлом.

Формула:

Для правильных глаголов: Subject + verb + -ed + object

I watched a movie yesterday. – Я посмотрел фильм вчера.

Для неправильных глаголов: Subject + 2-я форма неправильного глагола + object

She went to the park last Sunday. – Она ходила в парк в прошлое воскресенье.

Особенности:

В предложении обычно указываем время (yesterday, last week, two days ago, in 2020)

Глагол всегда в прошедшей форме

Для неправильных глаголов необходимо запоминать 2-ю форму (went, saw, did, had, ate и т.д.)

Примеры:

I played football yesterday. – Я играл в футбол вчера.

She visited her grandmother last weekend. – Она навещала бабушку в прошлые выходные.

They went to the cinema two days ago. – Они ходили в кино два дня назад.

2. История на английском

Yesterday was a sunny day. Emma woke up at 7 a.m. and ate breakfast. She went to the park with her friend Tom.

In the park, they played football and watched the birds. Later, they met Emma’s grandmother and talked with her for an hour.

In the evening, Emma cooked dinner and watched a movie. Tom left at 9 p.m., and Emma went to bed at 11.

It was a busy but happy day!
