I wrote Dream Big to tell the story of how I found the courage to follow my dreams. I believe that discovering our own passions and finding the courage to follow them are our greatest callings. By giving myself permission to dream, I gave birth to a company, Femail Creations, that has been one of the most worthwhile adventures of my life.

I am a firm believer in continuing to expand our comfort zones. So I have once again faced my fears and launched a new company to empower women on an even broader scale. I like to think of it as Femail Creations super-sized! It's called Barefoot Parties and it's all about getting together with your friends and having fun and shopping with your shoes off! Now that is nirvana!

In the book, I outlined “stepping stones” along the way. These are mini-action plans, starting-point ideas, small steps you can take to support you in reaching your goals and putting your dreams into action. Dare to dream bigger dreams for yourself.

My hope is that as I share the lessons I've learned, I will inspire you to take the first step on the path of your new life!

I want these cards to become like good friends—traveling with you or sitting on your desk, helping you find your passions, gently reminding you to follow them wherever they might lead.
